to find the Area of a rectangle use this formula:

A=w*l (width*length)

So,

A= [tex] \frac{2}{3} * \frac{1}{3} [/tex]

2*1=2
and
3*3=9

So,
[tex] \frac{2}{9} [/tex]

Thus, your answer is, [tex] \frac{2}{9}ft ^{2} [/tex].
