34/51 can be reduced to 2/3. Why? Because PROPORTIONS!

34/51 can be reduced to 2/3!

You can figure this out by realizing that:
34 = 17 * 2
51 = 17 * 3

You can factor a 17 out from both the numerator and denominator to be left with 2/3.
