If f(x)= 2(3x ) +1, what is the value of f(2)? Students the x is an exponent so the question should read 2 ( 3 raised to the power of x) + 1

f(x) = 2(3^x) + 1

f(2) = 2(3^2) + 1

= 2(9) + 1

= 18 + 1
