Find the y-intercept of x – 5y = 10.

Change the equation to slope intercept form:
-5y=-x+10
y=1/5x-2

The y intercept is -2

X-5y=10
Move y to the other side
5y = x + -10
Divide by 5
Y=1/2x - 5
