One number is three more than two times another. If their sum is increased by four, the result is nineteen. Find the numbers.

The answer is 6. If you work it out the correct way, you should end up with 6. 3+6×2+4=19. 6 multiplied by 2 is 12. 3 added to 12 is 15 and 15 plus 4 is 19.

I think it's 4 because 4 times 2 plus 3 is 11 and and 4 is 15 and adding 4 to that gives you 19. 6 is incorrect to say as the unknown value.
