Three consecutive integers, n, n+1, n+2, sum to 48.

n+n+1+n+2=48 combine like terms on left side

3n+3=48  subtract 3 from both sides

3n=45  divide both sides by 3

n=15, so the three integers are:

15, 16, and 17
