slope = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)

(-2, -1)
  x₁  y₁

(3, 4)
 x₂  y₂

m = (4 + 1)/(3 + 2)
m = (5)/(5)
m = 1

The slope of the points is 1.
