Formerly named Longacre Square, it was renamed in April 1904 after the New York Times (newspaper company ) moved its headquarters to the Times Building,

I it was formerly named Longacre Square it was Renamed in April of 1904 after New York Times moved it headquarters to the times building now it's called One Times Square
