For this problem, we can substitute RS for 48. This would make our first equation 48=2/3RT. Then, to get the fraction to the other side, we can multiply 3/2 to both sides and get 72 =RT. We can then plug 72 into our other equation to get the answer. So, it would be 1/2 times 72, or 72/2, which equals 36.
