Alright, lets get started.

Once we divide one number by another, then [tex] \frac{x}{y} [/tex] = quotient + remainder

So,

48 could be 6 times 8 then

[tex] \frac{49.3}{6} [/tex] could be written as 8 + 1.3

So, this 8 will be called quotient.

So the answer is 8. : Answer
