6 1/3- 4 2/3 =5 4/3- 4 2/3=1 2/3
You can't subtract fractions unless you have the same denominator.

The correct answer is 1 2/3 because 6 1/3=19/3 and 4 2/3=14/3 and 19/3-14/3=5/3=1 2/3
